Universal Audio today released the UAD 7.4.1 update with good news for Mac Pro Tools 11 users.
The new version includes many improvements and fixes but most importantly the beta gives Pro Tools 11 users access to the complete library of UAD powered plugins. It also provides seamless interoperability with Apollo series interfaces, realtime UAD processing, and support for Pro Tools’ 11 faster than realtime bounce.
The update also adds total session and automation compatibility with earlier versions of Pro Tools, AudioSuite file and selection based processing with UAD powered plugins for file-based workflows, and multi-mono support to use UAD plugins on surround and stereo tracks with full linking and unlinking capabilities.
The beta update is free for existing Mac owners of the UAD platform. Universal Audio promises that a Windows 7 version will be released early 2014. More information on the Beta release can be found on Universal Audio’s website.
