Together with the release of the new Macbook Pro with M1 Pro and M1 Max chips, Apple has released version 10.7 of Logic Pro. The DAW has been optimized for the new Macbook Pro’s and deliver new functions for mixing in Dolby Atmos Spatial Audio.

The Mixer level meters and surround panners now support mixing in up to 7.1.4 Dolby Atmos. This also includes support for height channels. The new 3D Object Panner gives you precise control over the positioning of sound in the virtual space. This way you can easily place sounds around the listener.

All plugins that support surround have been enhanced for Dolby Atmos. This gives you all the tools you need to create professional-sounding spatial mixes. Logic Pro 10.7 now also allows you to export your mix as a Dolby Atmos file that is compatible woth Apple Music.

Next to the Spatial Audio features you now get new Sound Packs with a large collection of loops, samples and instruments. these include royalty-free Producer Packs Oak Felder, TRAKGIRL, Take a Daytrip and others.
