Slate Digital today announced to give visitors of the AES in New York a preview of their latest plugin. The Virtual Mix Rack.

The VMR, as Slate calls it, is a 500 Series Lunchbox style plugin. The plugin is modular and starts with 4 processors: the FG-N ‘Brit-N’ EQ modeled after a Neve EQ, the FG-S ‘Brit-4k’ EQ modeled after the EQ from the SSL 4000 desk, The FG-116 ‘Modern Compressor’ and the FG-401 ‘Vintage Compressor’. These 4 processors are a start as Slate intends to expand the Virtual Mix Rack with more modules in the future.

Pricing is not yet available but Slate Digital did delivered a video showing off the plugin. A dedicated web page gives some basic information on the upcoming plugin.
