The wait is finally over for those of us that have been craving for Pro Tools 11. Avid released Pro Tools 11 with many new features and full 64-bit support.

New features
– 64-bit support via the new AAX plugin format
– offline bounce
– new Avid Audio Engine
– Dynamic plugin processing
– enhanced buffering
– … and much more.

Before you upgrade though make sure that 64-bit AAX versions are available for the plugins that you own. RTAS and 32-bit AAX won’t work in Pro Tools 11.
