Audio Ease releases Altiverb 7.2 for Win and OS X

Windows users of Altiverb will be thrilled to hear that Audio Ease has finally released Altiverb 7 for Windows. Next to 32-bit support this means 64-bit AAX and VST support for Pro Tools 11 and VST hosts for Windows.

The new version 7.2.0 is released for both Mac OS X and Windows. The Mac version contains several small bug fixes and improvements over the previous 7.1.2 version.

Altiverb 7 is a convolution reverb plug-in that uses high quality samples (impulse responses) of real spaces to recreate their reverb. Altiverb comes with a huge library of Impules Responses ranging from the Sydney Opera House to the cockpit of a Jumbo Jet. Altiverb 7 is efficient on the CPU, offers many parameters to tweak the sound of the reverb, and is fully automatable. Every month Audio Ease releases new free impulse responses for Altiverb 7 users.

More information on Altiverb 7 and the update can be found on Audio Ease’s website. Altiverb 7 costs €499. Upgrades for Windows users are available.
