Dr. Sean Olive new President AES

Dr. Sean OliveThe Audio Engineering Society (AES) has named Dr. Sean Olive as its new president. He takes the baton from outgoing president Frank Wells.

Olive is currently the director of Acoustic Research at Harman International. His resumé includes a Bachelor of Music from the University of Toronto, a Masters of Music in sound recording from McGill University and a PhD in sound reproduction from McGill. He worked as an audio research scientist for the National Research Council of Canada for several years, before joining Harman international in 1993.
